Anvil Rain

When placed on the Portal of Power, anvils will drop from the sky that deal 15 damage when they hitting an enemy and 0 damage when hitting the Skylander. It lasts for about 45 seconds per chapter. The figure can be removed from the portal to save part of the duration for later. When changing or resetting chapters, the anvil’s duration recharges to full.

Darklight Crypt

Darklight Crypt is a medieval Ghost town filled with block puzzles, world switches, and a giant central hedge maze. In the Real World, the level is pleasant and sunny, with a cheerful blue sky; in the Ghost World, the environment becomes dark and hazy with thick, swirling fog. Enemies and objects mutate when the world is switched, transforming innocent decorations into fiendish fixtures.

Dragon’s Peak

Dragon’s Peak contains a number of grassy, floating islands scattered across the blue sky. Stone platforms, statues, and a number of waterfalls decorate the islands with a regal appearance. In the level’s center towers a massive rock spire, at the top of which rests the magical Dragon Throne.

Empire of Ice

Empire of Ice is a frozen winterland colonized by Ice Ogres. As the only level in Spyro’s Adventure themed around ice, it includes wide stretches of slippery ground, several ice mazes, and a unique breed of frozen blue cacti. Snowflakes drift down from the level’s partially cloudy blue sky.

Ghost Swords

When placed on the Portal of Power, the item spawns two floating swords that attack nearby enemies. The swords deal 4 damage per attack and last for about 45 seconds per chapter. The figure can be removed from the portal to save part of the duration for later. When changing or resetting chapters, the swords’ duration recharges to full.

Healing Elixir

When placed on the Portal of Power, the elixir restores 30 health per second, with a maximum of 450 health in total. The figure can be removed from the portal to save part of the healing for later. When changing or resetting chapters, the elixir’s duration recharges to full.

Hidden Treasure

When placed on the Portal of Power, a radar appears on screen that tells the player if a hidden treasure is the area. The closer the Skylander gets to the treasure, the more circles will show, and a distinct sound will play. When the Skylander is very close, the chest will pop up from below the ground and the Skylander can then open it like any other Treasure Chests.

Pirate Seas

Pirate Seas is an Adventure Pack chapter in Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure and Skylanders: Giants that can only played by purchasing the Pirate Seas Adventure Pack. This expansion pack includes Terrafin, a pirate ship that unlocks the level, and two Magic Items, Hidden Treasure and Ghost Pirate Swords.

In the Wii version, once Kaos has been defeated, a Gillman with a pirate card minigame will appear next to the docked ship in the Ruins. The deck that you play with will always be random. The reward for playing the first time is 100 treasure. Afterwards, it is always 10 treasure.

Sky Iron Shield

When placed on the Portal of Power, the shield reduces the damage taken by the Skylander by 50%. It lasts for about 45 seconds per chapter. The figure can be removed from the portal to save part of the duration for later. When changing or resetting chapters, the shield’s duration recharges to full.

Sparx Dragonfly

When placed on the Portal of Power, Sparx attacks enemies with his rapid fire breath shot, but he can only last for about a minute. When the enemies are defeated, and if they are hit by Sparx’s fireballs, they turn into butterflies which the Skylanders can eat to regain their health.

Time Twister

When placed on the Portal of Power, the item slows down time for everything other than the Skylander. It lasts for about 45 seconds per chapter. The figure can be removed from the portal to save part of the duration for later. When changing or resetting chapters, the hourglass’ duration recharges to full.

Volcanic Vault

When the toy is placed on the Portal of Power for the first time, it unlocks the multiplayer Volcanic Vault (Arena) for play in Battle Mode.

Winged Boots

When placed on the Portal of Power in the console versions, the boots give the Skylander a speed boost for as long as it is on the Portal and as it is active.
